How to Stay Focused: Writer Wednesday

What does your office look like?  Either your writing office or your not-writing-work office?  How do you stay focused? I’ve been struggling with this a lot lately…too many distractions.  And I feel compelled to check my facebook or twitter ever 12 seconds — what IS that? Last week (while distracted) I went looking for virtual office best practices.  I’ve worked from a virtual platform for 4 years now, and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have a clue how to reintroduce myself to the corporate structure of an office, but I feel like my focus is slipping.  Maybe because the weather is so nice outside, maybe because the boys are out of school, but I feel like my maximum focus set it topping out at 20 minutes. Has that every happened to you?
